Stephen King Cameo Appearances

Many authors have made cameo appearances appeared in the movie and TV adaptations of their own books and Stephen King is a bit of a serial Cameo appearance artist. AT the time of writing this, Stephen King has made twenty cameo appearances; some in movies of his own book and some in other people’s movies or TV shows.

The temptation for well-known authors to come out of the relative anonymity of their life behind a typewriter or laptop and appear in the full glare of the lights and camera has been too much to resist for quite a few famous authors over the years. Other authors who have appeared in cameo appearances include:

Stephen King has made cameo appearances in his own movies and TV shows and has also made appearances in other TV shows such as Frasier and The Simpsons. It’s a well-known fact, that if Stephen King hadn’t made it as an author, then he would have probably wanted to make it to the stage, not as an actor, but as a rock star and King was a member of a rock and roll band, The Rock Bottom Remainders, all of whose members were authors.
